If you think you were exposed to HIV within the last 3 days we recommend you take Post-Exposure Prophylaxis also known as PEP as soon as possible. This is an emergency medicine for people who are not living with HIV.
If you think you were exposed, call the 24 hour NYC PEP hotline at 844-3-PEPNYC (844-373-7692), or go immediately to an emergency room and ask for PEP.
